Vaclav Vytlacil (1892-1984) was an abstract painter and art instructor who worked primarily in the New York city area.

Born in New York, N.Y. Studied under Hans Hofmann in Munich. Taught at the Art Students League and the Florence Cane Schol of Art, N.Y. He was also one of the co-founders of the American Abstract Artists group.
