Saint Martins Station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station near the Church of Saint Martin in the Fields, in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. It was known as Wissahickon Heights Station from the time it was built as a station on the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1883, until 1906. The St. Martin's Station Grounds Committee, Inc. was founded as a non-profit corporation in 1981 with the purpose "To repair, renovate, maintain, beautify, operate, and/or lease St. Martin's Station (and its grounds), an important historical public building in the community; thereby maintaining a public building, lessening the burdens of Government, and combating community deterioration."
