Westropp, Lillian Mary, 1884-1968.
Sisters, Lillian Mary Westropp and Clara E. Westropp (1886-1965) founded The Women's Savings and Loan Company of Cleveland, Ohio, in 1922 to provide a bank run by women for women. Lillian Westropp was president and Clara Westropp secretary until 1958, when Clara became president. The bank has been called the Women's Federal Savings and Loan Association since 1935.
