Amato, Pasquale
Pasquale Amato (1878-1942), a native of Italy, was an operatic baritone. He traveled to the United States and performed regularly at the Metropolitan Opera in New York until 1921. Amato headed the opera department at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge from 1934 until 1942.
