Director of Independent Studies and of the Institute of American History. Biography

Edgar E. Robinson was the Margaret Byrne Professor of History at Stanford University (1911-1952; emeritus, 1952-1977) and chairman of the History Department (1935-1952). He also served as Director of Independent Studies and of the Institute of American History.
