Zippert, John, 1945-
John Zippert was born in New York City on November 13, 1945. He joined CORE while at the City College of New York and volunteered in Louisiana during the summer of 1965. His first job came with the Southern Cooperative Development Program in 1967. Zippert joined the Federation of Southern Cooperatives in Epes, Alabama in 1970.
