Carl J. Meade (b. Nov. 16, 1950, Chanute Air Force Base, IL) was a test pilot and colonel in the Air Froce and NASA Astronaut. While at NASA he served on the Atlantis (STS-38), Columbia (STS-50), and Discovery (STS-64). Meade retired from NASA and military in 1996 and subsequently worked for Lockheed and Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems.
