Federation Of Communities in Service (FOCIS)
The Glenmary Religion Survey was conducted by the Federation Of Communities in Service (FOCIS) in cooperation with the Commission On Religion in Appalachia (CORA) and the Catholic Diocese of Wheeling, West Virginia. The survey's purpose was to identify general religious attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors, including the relationship to a church, degree of church participation, attitudes toward the church pastor, and doctrinal issues such as Jesus, sin, heaven, hell, baptism and communion.
