Degree. 1912-1920 Principal of Davis County High School. 1916-1922 City councilman and mayor of Bountiful, Utah. 1920-1921 Utah State Superintendent of Schools. 1906-1920 Chairman of Democratic Party of Davis County. 1921-1922 Director of Agencies of Intermountain Life Insurance Co. Salt Lake City, Utah. 1922-1932 Sales manager and member of board of directors for the National Thrift Corp. of America, Los Angeles. 1923-1927 First counselor in original presidency of Los Angeles LDS Stake. 1927-1939 President of Los Angeles LDS Stake. 1935-1936 Appointed member of Los Angeles County Rehibilitation Commission. 1935-1937 Founder and editor of California Intermountain Weekly News. 1935-1919 Established an agency in Los Angeles for the Pacific National Life Insurance Co. of Salt Lake City. 1928-1964 Author and publisher of Flashes from the Eternal Semaphore , Upward Reach , Muir's Thesaurus of Truth , Century of Mormon Activities in California , 2 vols, Life of William Smith Muir , Life of George W.
