Variant namesMarion Greenwood Bidder was born in 1862 and died in 1932. She was a student at Girton from 1879 to 1883 studying Natural Sciences and returned as a Lecturer from 1888 until 1899. She was one of the first women to pursue independent research in Cambridge and was a founder and director of the Balfour Laboratory 1890-1899.
