Received his B.A. from Washington and Lee University (1941) and L.L.D. from University of Texas (1947). Member of Rassman, Gunter, and Boldrick law firm in Midland, Texas. Member of various professional organizations. Director (1972-75) and Chairman of the Board (1974-75) of the State Bar of Texas. Active for the Texas State Chamber of Commerce. President of West Texas Chamber of Commerce and Texas State Chamber of Commerce (1973-74).
