African Theologian and Evangelist; Byang Henri Kato, born June 23, 1936 in Sabzuara, Kaduna State, Nigeria; educated at Igbaja Bible College, Igbaja, Nigeria (1957), London Bible College, England (1962-1966), Dallas Theological Seminary, Texas, USA (1973); served as General Secretary of the Evangelical Church of West Africa (1967-1973) and of the Association of Evangelicals of Africa and Madagascar (1973-1975). Died in 1975.
