Henry Graham Greene (Oct. 2, 1904-Apr. 3, 1991) was an English novelist, short story writer, playwright, screenplay writer, travel writer, and critic whose works explore the ambivalent moral and political issues of the modern world. Several of his works have been adapted for the cinema, including The Third Man, Our Man in Havana, A Gun For Sale, Brighton Rock, The End of the Affair, The Quiet American, and many others.
