Glenn, Ruth, 1909-1997

Ruth Glenn was born in 1909 in Mercer, Pennsylvania. She had one older sister, Dorothy, and one older brother. Her father, John Albin Glenn, was a dairy farmer and a cousin of Joseph N. Pew, Sr. She graduated from Grove City College and the University of Pittsburgh (personnel and industrial relations). After teaching for some time in western Pennsylvania, she joined the personnel department of the Sun Oil Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1957 she joined the Glenmede Trust Company working with grantees. She resided with Mr. Moyer in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Ruth Glenn died on December 24, 1997.

C. Lee Moyer was born in 1906 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He attended Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pennsylvania. He married Dorothy Glenn (1906-1989), sister of Ruth Glenn. He joined the auditing department of the Sun Oil Company in 1946, retiring in 1971. He resided with Miss Glenn in Mercer, Pennsylvania. He died on August 11, 1995.
