Butler, Howard Crosby, 1872-1922
Variant namesHoward Crosby Butler was an archaeologist and professor of the history of architecture at Princeton University. In his early student days he played leading roles in the first productions of the newly founded Triangle Club and helped organize the college's third eating club, Tiger Inn, whose clubhouse he later designed.
