Peace Forum (Montgomery County, Pa.)
Organized in 1982 by residents of Montgomery County, Pa.; first called the Committee for a Nuclear Free Community; worked to have Montgomery County declared a nuclear-free zone, and to elect candidates in favor of a nuclear freeze; organized Peace Fairs; name changed to Peace Forum in autumn of 1991; ceased operation by September of 1993.
