As state representative, served on: Insurance Committee (1967-1969), Water Resources Committee (1967-1968), Constitutional Study Commission as secretary (1967-1968), Constitutional Convention and Municipalities Committees (1969-1970), Constitutional Implementation Committee (1971-1972), Judiciary II Committee (1971-1974), and Organization of the General Assembly Commission (1973-1974). Presided as chairman of Challenge Consent Calendar, Legislative Reference Bureau, and Higher Education Committee (1973-1974).
