Clarence A. G. Pease was the manager, treasurer, and president of the Endura Manufacturing Corporation of Quakertown, Pa.

The Endura Manufacturing Corporation was incorporated in Pennsylvania on March 26, 1929, by George C. Beals of Winchendon, Mass. Beals had purchased two defunct fiberboard manufactories in 1928, the Endura Manufacturing Company of Durham, Pa., and the Fibre Finishing Company of Worcester, Mass. Beals managed the Massachusetts firm, renamed the Vellumoid Company, and sent 40-year old Clarence A. G. Pease to Pennsylvania. As part of the reincorporation, the equipment was moved from Durham to Quakertown.

The Endura Manufacturing Corporation produced impregnated fiberboard and paper products, including fibre packings, non-metallic gaskets, shoe coverings and toe cap liners of "Duraflex". By the early 1940s the factory had about 20 employees and primarily supplied the automotive trade. In 1954 the firm was renamed the Endura Corporation. After Pease's retirement in 1959, both Endura and Velumoid were sold to the Dewey & Almy Chemical Division of W. R. Grace & Company.
