United Nations Council of Philadelphia
The United Nations Council of Philadelphia was one of many such organizations which focused the interest of urban civic leaders on the promotion of the U.N. In 1949, the Council and the Foreign Policy Association of Philadelphia united to become the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.
