Halsey, Charles H., 1810-1855
Variant namesRev. Charles H. Halsey was born in Newark, N.J. on February 22, 1810. He entered the New York Theological Seminary, and was ordained a deacon in Trinity Church in Newark. Eventually he became Rector of Christ Church, which had previously been part of the Trinity Church.
