United Faculty of Florida
Variant namesThe United Faculty of Florida is the union that represents higher education teachers and personnel in this state. The group is affiliated with the Florida Education Association, the American Federation of Teachers, and the AFL-CLO. It was chartered in 1975 by the Florida Education Association and was certified by the Dept. of State in 1976 as a committee of continuing existence. There are several chapters around the state representing various state universities.
