A. Dean Coleman served on the Boulder City Council during the 1930s.
Albert Thomas and Bessie D. Coleman came to Boulder in 1904 from Iowa. A farmer, Coleman raised berries on Airport Road just east of 26th Street; he also farmed the Stillwell place just west of the Diagonal on Jay Road and the McKenzie place directly north of Pleasant View School. He grew all sorts of berries, raised poultry and sold eggs in town, milked 60 cows and sold milk and cream to a dairy, raised hogs, beef, wheat, corn and feed hay.
