Brent, Rosella Kenner, 1849-1928.
Rosella Kenner was the daughter of Ascension Parish planter and politician Duncan Farrar Kenner. She grew up on Ashland Plantation, and witnessed the July, 1862 Union raid of the estate.
Rosella Kenner wed former Confederate Brigadier General Joseph L. Brent in 1870.
