Freeman Co., 1952-54; founder and executive editor of Dragon's Tooth Press in 1970; visiting professor and lecturer, Sacramento State College, 1962-63; has been poet, historian, playright and translator; books include: First poems (1940), The atom clock (1951), Four days in July : the story behind the Declaration of Independence (1958), and I, Benedict Arnold (1960).
