Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power Company
Variant namesCheyenne Light, Fuel and Power (CLFP) is a public utility supplying electricity and gas to southeast Wyoming; organized in 1900, CLFP took over two local utilities, Brush-Swan Electric Light Company and Cheyenne City Gas Company; CLFP operated as a local utility until it became part of Northern Colorado Power Company in 1906, Western Light & Power Company in 1914, and Public Service Company of Colorado in 1923, where it remained until 1963 when it became an independent utility.
