Sherman, John D., 1872-1960
Variant namesJohn D. Sherman, Jr., (1872-1960) was an entomologist and entomological book dealer. He lived in Mount Vernon, New York, and was a long-time member of the New York Entomological Society. For a time he served as President of the Society. Sherman sent specimens and reprints to the United States National Museum from 1893 to 1950.
