Brackett, Thelma, 1896-1994.
Thelma Brackett graduated from library school in Scaramento California. In 1931, she became the New Hampshire State Librarian. She came to the University of New Hampshire in 1942 when President Englehardt asked her to apply for the position of Director of the University Library. She worked for UNH until she retired in 1962. She was also an active member of the Durham N.H. community.
