Evangelical Fellowship of Mission Agencies.
Association of Evangelical denominational and nondenominational mission boards. Begun as a commission of the National Association of Evangelicals in 1943; incorporated autonomously in Washington, DC, 1945. EFMA consisted of various mission boards and aimed to serve the common interests of members in government relations, cooperative purchasing and travel, inter-mission relations and fellowship. EFMA coordinated education/ training opportunities, dissemination of information, research, and annual meetings and retreats.
