Geoghegan, Patrick Bonaventure, 1805-1864.
Franciscan priest and second bishop of Adelaide (1859-1862). Arrived in Sydney from Ireland in 1838. Geoghegan founded the Melbourne mission in 1839 and continued to work there as Vicar General to James Alipius Goold until his consecration in 1859.
