Mid-West Council on International Relations
Variant namesThe Indiana Council on International Relations was organized in 1926 by Indiana citizens who, remembering the first World War, wanted to prevent future wars. Though holding a broad range of views, its membership had general agreement in the belief that all international problems could be settled peaceably by conference and judicial process. The Council changed its name to the Mid-West Council on International Relations in 1936.
