Physical education specialist and diversity expert; advocate for human rights, especially for gay/lesbian rights; of Spokane, Wash.; on executive board of Hands Off Washington (HOW) campaign, a program of Washington Citizens for Fairness (WCF) which was formed to defeat proposed state legislation that would deny civil rights to individuals based on their actual or perceived sexual orientation.
