Variant namesMissionary; born Karl Gray Dortzbach on September 12, 1949; graduated from Wheaton College (1971) and Westminster Theological Seminary (1975); worked in Ethiopia with Orthodox Presbyterian Church (1973-1974), during which time his wife was kidnaped by Eritrean rebels; worked in Kenya (1981- ) with Presbyterian Church in America as a church planter.
