Jerrard, Simon G.
Colonel Simon G. Jerrard of Levant, Me., served with the 22nd Maine Infantry Regiment during the Civil War, serving extensively in South Louisiana. He was dismissed from the Army in June 1863 for failing to obey orders at the siege of Port Hudson, La.
