Variant namesFranziska Porges Hosken earned a master of Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1944; she was among the first women graduates of the program. She subsequently worked as a product designer, journalist and adovate for women's health issues.

Franziska Porges Hosken earned a master of Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) in 1944; she has been a journalist on urban affairs, written for Architectural Forum, and taught urban studies at the University Without Walls in Roxbury, Mass. She brought a sex discrimination complaint against GSD in 1971 and against the Ford Foundation in 1973. She is editor of WIN News, published by the Women's International Network, Lexington, Mass.
