Markham, Henry Harrison, 1840-1923

Henry H. Markham practiced law in Wisconsin and moved to California in 1879, settling in Pasadena. His business enterprises were varied, but his chief interests were in gold and silver mining in Arizona and California. Markham was elected governor of California in 1890 and held office until 1895.
