Dr. C. Adele Brown was one of the founders of the American School Health Association and was one of the first full-time school physicians hired by the State of New York. Dr. Brown was considered an important innovator in the field of children's medicine and helped develop medical instruments and other technologies to enhance the school health care profession. She also actively served as a school health care professional in Oswego, New York, from 1925 to 1965.
