Wiggins, Roy A., III
Variant namesSteel guitarist. Born June 27, 1926. Died August 3, 1999. Real name: Ivan Leroy Wiggins. His steel guitar can be heard providing the signature back-up for Eddy Arnold's stage shows and recordings during the late 1940s-early 1950s. Recorded instrumentals for several labels, including Dot and Starday. Member, Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
