Harrington, Elbert W.
Public school teacher and professor of speech and English. Harrington was earned a B.A. from the Iowa State Teachers College and an M.A. and Ph. D from the University of Iowa. He taught in public schools in Iowa and Wisconsin and then at the University of Iowa and the University of Colorado. His doctoral dissertation was titled "The Public Speaking Career of Albert B. Cummins."
