Conner, Charles Chambers.
Charles Chambers Conner (1856-1939) was ordained as a Universalist minister in Roann, Indiana, in 1880. He held pastorates in Milford and Hamilton, Ohio; LaCrosse, Monson, and Springfield, Wisconsin; Barre and Rochester, Vermont; and North Adams, Massachusetts. Conner published several books, including A Pastor's Immortelles, From Nature to Man, and Resources of a Nation . Conner also founded a shorthand system of writing, on which he worked for 20 years.
