The Senior Lawyers Project, sponsored by the Senior Lawyers Division of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana Historical Society, and the Public History Program at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, was an oral history project to record lawyers' memories of recent historical events. Interviews were conducted from 1989 to 1991 by Philip V. Scarpino and Linda Weintraut on three topics: rural electrification in Indiana, Unigov (the united government of Indianapolis and Marion County), and legal culture and civil rights in Indiana.
