Stanford Pharmacy (Newark, N.J.)

The Stanford Pharmacy in Newark, N.J. (Essex County) was established in 1852 by Dr. Luther G. Thomas (1830-1864), who later served as an army surgeon during the Civil War. William H. Stanford took over the pharmacy after the war.
