Davidson, Benjamin, -1871
Variant namesWilliam A. Richardson (1795-1856), an English sea captain, was given a Mexican grant for lands in Mendocino County along the California coast in the 1830s, partly in exchange for marrying Maria Antonio Martinez, the daughter of the Mexican Commandant of Yerba Buena (San Francisco). The land included modern day Albion, California.
