Prescott, Brainard E.
U.S. Army colonel in 1945; became a consultant for coordinating activities of the State and War Depts. concerning Korea. After V-J Day he was in charge of the organization and operation of the military government in Korea as a civil administrator. Retired in 1958 with the rank of brigadier general; also ran his own law practice in East Aurora.
