Whiting, Isaac, 1776-1866
Isaac Whiting (1776-1866), a carpenter and farmer in Dedham, Mass., was the son of Moses Whiting (1749/50-1833) and the husband of Sarah Gay Whiting (1752- ). Whiting served on several town committees and was appointed builder of various mills, factories, and bridges in Dedham and neighboring towns.
