Edes, Sarah Barker, 1788-1845.
The Barker family of Pembroke and Charlestown, Mass. and the Edes family of Charlestown were prominent in shipbuilding and maritime trade. Sarah Barker Edes was eldest daughter of Josiah Barker and Penelope Hatch Barker. She married (1818) Robert Ball Edes.
