Four distinct societies used the name Pennsylvania Peace Society over a span of 105 years; Pennsylvania Peace Society founded in 1822 and in existence to at least 1829; Pennsylvania Peace Society in existence in 1839; Pennsylvania Peace Society founded in 1850 and in existence to at least 1851; and Pennsylvania Peace Society in existence 1866-1928, a state branch of the Universal Peace Union. There is no evidence of any ties among them other than the name.
