Marquand, Frederick, 1798-1882
Variant namesFrederick Marquand (1798-1882) and his wife, Hetty, lived in Brooklyn on Monroe Place in the neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights. Frederick was a silversmith and jeweler who owned a successful firm in New York City called Marquand & Co., which later became Ball, Black & Co.
