Cattle Raisers Association of Texas
Variant namesFounded in 1877, the Northwest Texas Cattle Raisers Association was the first cattle raisers association. It grew into the Texas Cattle Raisers Association in 1893, and became the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association in 1921. The association is active in controlling cattle theft and promotes legislative interests of cattle raisers.
