Studer, Carlton A., 1891-
Son of pioneer rancher, J.C. (Julius Caesar) Studer and brother of archaeologist Floyd V. Studer. Grew up on the Anvil Park Ranch near Canadian, Texas. Lead the family's cattle operations and chain of bakeries, grocery stores, meat markets, and packing operations scattered throughout the Texas Panhandle. Active in rodeos as an announcer, stock raiser and secretary of the National Rodeo Association. Organized the Anvil Park Rodeo (1918-1966). Also dealt in real estate.
