Kennedy, George G. (George Golding), 1841-1918
Variant namesKennedy (Harvard University, A.B. 1864; M.D. 1867) after briefly practicing medicine, took over management of his father's business, and continued to study botany. He published articles, including a flora of Willoughby, Vt. (1904); developed a sizeable herbarium; and was active on the visiting committee of the Gray Herbarium and endowed the Library.
